Happy Valentine’s Day Recipe!
As Valentine’s Day approaches, I put on my apron and went into my kitchen to create a lovely treat that could be enjoyed by you and your loved ones without guilt or inflammation. I succeeded!!
These yummy little bars are delicious, easy to make, and won’t leave you with the typical Valentine’s Day candy hangover.
Ingredients:
2 2/3 cup almond flour (can also use other nut flours)

1/4 tsp sea salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 cups Frozen Cherries (can use most fresh cherries too)
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Coconut Oil melted
1/2 cup Coconut nectar
1 TBSP Vanilla Extract
2 Pastured eggs
2/3 cup Lilly’s Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 9-inch glass baking dish with parchment paper.
Stir together all the dry ingredients.
Mix the wet ingredients together and combine with the dry mixture. Gently fold in the frozen berries and chocolate chips.
Pour into prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
Allow to sit for 20 minutes. Slice and serve. Yum!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
